Doug is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor, Internationally Certified Advanced Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor, Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional, Certified Co-Occurring Disorder Specialist-Diplomate and a Board Certified Clinical Psychotherapist. Doug received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-Medicine and Psychology from Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio. Following that he earned a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology from Ball State University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Addiction Studies from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is a member of NAADAC. His professional career has spanned over 36 years of practice in both mental health and addictions. He has been published in numerous professional journals and has presented at professional conferences across the United States.

Evan is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor Level II (CADAC II), an Internationally Certified Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor (ICAADC),Certified Criminal Justice Addcitions Professional, Certified Co-Occurring Disorder Specialist and a member of the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC), Indiana Association for Addiction Professionals (IAAP), International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC), Indiana Counselors Association on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (ICAADA), the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), and the Indiana Army National Guard (US Army). Until November of 2004 Evan facilitated groups for the Residential Treatment Department of The Salvation Army – Harbor Light Center. He has worked in the field of addictions for many years and is dedicated to helping others find a new way of living.
